Wage theft is serious. Employers steal more than $19 billion each year from their own employees, according to the FBI and legal analysts. This is more than the combined total of burglary, larceny, and auto theft. According to a systematic study by Economic Policy Institute, tens of millions of workers have their wages stolen, to the tune of $50 billion per year.
To make it worse, most employees don’t even know that their bosses are stealing from them. As a result, most workers don’t do anything about it. Search this website to determine if your boss is stealing from you by not paying you proper overtime, minimum wage, spread of hours pay, or any other wage and hour violation.
